Labels
Are your Labels still dishwasher, laundry and microwave safe?
All Label Daddy Labels are dishwasher, laundry, and microwave safe, unless specifically noted on the product page. However, we highly recommend our lamination option for labels that will be exposed to a lot of abrasion, repeated washing, strong detergents, sunscreens, and other chemicals.
What is the Add-On Laminate for Labels?
Our lamination option is a thin transparent layer that we apply to the labels after they are printed to help protect the print from any abrasion, detergents, or chemicals the label comes in contact with. This added layer of protection will ensure your labels will stay looking vibrant for years to come.
The lamination option is included on our Camp Pack, School Pack and other selected packs (check the product descriptions for more information).
What are Label Daddy labels made of?
We sell peel and stick-on labels. Our labels are made of a thin vinyl that has an industrial strength adhesive on the back. We print your design on the vinyl; in addition we can apply a very thin laminate for extra durability at a small price increase.
What can I put my Label Daddy Labels on?
Label Daddy labels will stick to any hard surfaces and some soft surfaces like: leather on a baseball glove, a dog leash or a diaper bag. Our stick on clothing labels can be applied to garment/care tags, as well as any hard surface like our other labels!
WARNING:Do not apply labels directly to skin, hair, fur, or any other part of a person or animal. The adhesive is strong and can cause injury.
What do I do if my child's name won't fit on the label?
If you are having trouble fitting the entire name on the labels, then please contact us to let us know. We will require the correct spelling of the name and the order number of your recent purchase. Your labels will certainly include the entire name, even if it doesn’t fit on our website.
Please note that long names on small labels may require small text that can be difficult to read in some instances. If there are any concerns please be sure tocontact usto make sure we can make your labels look great.
How do I remove the labels?
Although our stick-on labels are backed with industrial strength adhesive, it is possible to remove them with intent. The easiest way is to start picking at a corner to loosen it, and then peel the whole label off. If you're having trouble removing labels - a few seconds under a blow dryer will loosen the adhesive and allow you to peel the label off the surface.
You may also need to use a product, such as Goo-Gone, to remove any sticky residue that may be left on the item that was labeled.
How should I apply my labels to my belongings?
Label Daddy labels should always be applied by an adult or under adult supervision. To make sure that your labels will work as expected, it's important that you order the correct size label for your application. Every label page on our website gives you details about the specific label and what you can use that label on. For best results, our clothing labels should be applied to a garment’s care tag. If no care tag is present, apply the label to a garment’s brand imprint (the stamped area where a company will provide their logo or care information). We do not recommend applying the labels directly to fabric, as it may not have a strong enough surface for the adhesive to bond to.
Our labels like pressure, so don't be afraid to really give them a good going over with your thumb, or a good squeeze between your thumb and fingers. Another trick to help your labels stick - after applying labels to clothing items, throw them in the dryer for a few minutes, and then go over the labels one more time while they are still warm. Make sure to give them 24 hours before putting them in the washing machine.
For hard goods, just stick them to a clean, dry surface and work any bubbles you find, out to the edges with your thumb.
What if I want to order a pack of labels with more than one name?
Due to the nature of our production process, we are unable to split label packs into more than one name. Since our packs are designed to make ordering easier, the text must be consistent throughout. If you need labels for more than one person, you may want to order your labels by size instead of by the pack, or order a pack for each person. As an additional solution, consider using your last name only– that way everyone can share!
My child/loved one has sensitive skin. Do your clothing labels cause irritation?
In these types of situations, we highly recommend having your label order laminated. The lamination provides a smooth surface that should not irritate skin. While we can't say with 100% certainty that our labels will not irritate anyone's skin, we feel very confident in saying that skin irritation is not an issue that our customers have ever complained about. Your satisfaction is our number one priority, so please feel free tocontact us with any concerns.
Why are my Label Daddy labels falling off in the laundry?
Our Clothing Labels are designed to stay put and virtually outlast clothing. They must be applied to the garment/care tag of the clothing item (i.e., the tag with the size and washing instructions), and are not guaranteed to stick when placed directly onto the clothing fabric. After applying Label Daddy labels to the garment/care tag, we recommend waiting 24 hours before laundering.
Do you make waterproof labels?
Yes we do! All of our labels are made from the same peel-n-stick material. Practically our entire line of labels is laundry and/or dishwasher safe (not to mention pool and lake!). To ensure that your labels last as long as possible, please select the option to laminate your labels for an extra layer of protection.
Wall Decals
Why wall decals?
Here are a few great reasons. Wall decals are a really easy way to decorate your home, or a room in your home, without damaging any walls! All are super easy to apply and they don’t cost a fortune. They're perfect if you need a change of scenery, are feeling inspired or just want something fresh and new. Our wall decals are awesome for perking up any room without causing damage….to the walls or to your bank account!
Label Daddy is not responsible for any damages the product may cause.
I rent so I can’t use wall decals, right?
Wrong! That’s the beautiful part…well, besides how literally adorable they are. They’re not permanent! Meaning….you can remove them when it’s time to move! As long as the walls were in good condition before applying the wall decals, they shouldn’t damage the paint. If the walls are bubbly or lifting before you apply the wall decals, some paint may come off if you try to remove the wall decal, so please test in a discrete area first before applying an entire wall of beautiful decals!
Can I stick these anywhere?
Almost. Our wall decals will stick to any wall or hard surface as long as it is smooth and not super porous (like stucco or heavy orange peel textured walls). Heavy textured walls create pockets of air in between the adhesive and the wall which prevents it from being able to properly grip the surface of the wall. We do not recommend wall decals for outdoor use on surfaces such as brick or stucco or wood fencing.Label Daddy is not responsible if graphics applied to a bumpy texture do not stick.
I just painted my wall, will I be able to use the wall decals?
Sort of. Please allow at least 30 days on newly painted surfaces. The wall should be completely dry…like, COMPLETELY DRY. If the paint isn’t completely dry and you try to remove the wall decal, it might peel some of the paint off. Also, some of the new Low-VOC eggshell paints might contain small amounts of silicone which may interfere with anything sticky on your walls. You can always test your wall with a simple piece of masking tape; if it sticks, then our decals will too.
Can I put the wall decals in a bathroom?
Yes! As long as you keep them out of direct contact with water, our fabric decals and vinyl decals are perfect for bathroom and kitchen use. The stickers can be applied to mirrors, glass surfaces and tiles. Just remember that our stickers need to be applied on dry surfaces; therefore, do not shower at least 3 hours before applying the stickers. Once applied wait at least 3 hours before taking a shower.
Do I need to prep my wall before applying the decals?
It’s always helpful, but not mandatory. Use a warm, damp lint free cloth or sponge to clean the wall surface or window and allow it to completely dry before applying your decal. Also, make sure all previous cleaning solutions are gone.
Do I have to install the wall decal right away?
We recommend installing the decal within a couple months of purchase. Some variables, such as temperature or light, may affect the properties of the application tape that is on top of the vinyl, making it harder to apply later. If you plan on waiting, it’s best to store the decals in a cool, dark and dry place until application.
Can I reuse my wall decals?
Well, that depends? If you’re applying the vinyl wall decals using transfer tape….no, the vinyl decals are not reusable. They are absolutely removable…but not reusable. If you are applying the fabric wall decals….YES YES YES….the fabric wall decals are completely reusable! You may remove them and place them in a new location…no problem!

All of our labels and many of our other products can be customized.
Can Label Daddy customize orders with my own artwork?
Unfortunately, we cannot incorporate your artwork into any of our products, but not to worry. We have many wonderful styles to choose from, and more on the way!

You can only use one discount/promo code per order. This applies to our free delivery codes too.
As our discount/promo codes vary, so do the terms and conditions of each; so make sure you check the terms and conditions when you receive any codes. Codes may only be valid for certain items and the majority of codes will have an expiration date. You should be able to find the terms and conditions in the same place you found the code, whether it be through an email or on our website
Some codes will only work for specific people or for specific countries. The terms and conditions will state if the code can only be used in a certain country. If you’ve received the code in an email from Label Daddy then the code may also be locked to that email address. Make sure you’re trying to use the code using your Label Daddy account that has the same email address we sent the code to.

Payment Methods
You can use any of the payment types listed below to pay for your order.
We take your security very seriously, therefore your details are safe with us.
We also take fraud very seriously too, so all credit and debit card holders are subject to validation and authorization by both us and the card issuer.
If you don’t want to save your payment details to your account, then you can also enter them when you come to pay for your order. If there is no payment details saved to your account, then you’ll be asked to enter them when you click ‘Pay Now’.
If you're trying to use an LD gift card to pay for your order, please enter it in the promo code box.
How do I use my LD gift card to pay for an order?
Using your Label Daddy Gift Card to pay for an order is easy! Simply enter the gift card number in the promo code box at checkout and click 'Apply'.
If you're spending more than the value of your gift card, you'll need to pay the extra using a credit or debit card in the usual way.
If you're spending less than the value of your gift card, the credit will stay on the gift card for you to spend later; please don't lose the code.
Can I get a price adjustment?
Price adjustments can only be made within 14 days of your purchase.
You will be refunded the difference in price to your original form of payment.
Shipping & Delivery
What should I do if my order hasn't been delivered yet?
Your order confirmation email will confirm our current production time as well as the transit time on your order. This will help you determine when you will receive your order.
If your order includes tracking then you'll be able to get the latest updates on your order by clicking on the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email. You can also log into 'My Account' and click 'Track This Order'. Either of these methods will provide you with up to date information on the status of your order.
USPS Standard Shipping, USPS Priority and USPS Express all include tracking for labels and wall decals.
If your estimated delivery date has passed then please contact us so that we can help you further.
How long does it take for Label and Decal customization and shipment?
Due to the customized nature of our products, please allow 3-5 Business Days for production of labels and 5-7 Business Days for all other customized products in addition to the shipping transit time estimates listed below. Orders are produced and shipped Monday through Friday.

How long does it take for customization and shipment for all other products?
Due to the customized nature of our products, please allow 5-7 Business Days to produce all non-Label/Wall Decal customized products in addition to the shipping transit time estimates. Metal and wood signs can take up to 15 Business Days to produce in addition to the shipping and transit time estimates listed below. Orders are produced and shipped Monday through Friday.
Please note that these are price ranges for each grouped product type. Each listed grouping ships from a separate location and will be charged based on the location it ships from.

What is your return policy?
WE WANT 100% SATISFACTION IN OUR PRODUCTS
If you're looking to return a faulty or incorrect item, please get in touch so we can get this sorted for you. You'll need to provide us with details of the product and the defect; including the order number, a description of the fault, and a photo or the product. Should we agree the product was in fact defective and that you are entitled to to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price, using the original method of payment.
You can return any non-customized item (i.e. a non-customized wall decal) for a refund within 30 days of receiving your original order.
We generally cannot refund any orders where a customer has made a mistake on name spelling or has made a wrong choice of design. Please double check your order confirmation.
If you are not satisfied with your items, please contact us so we can try and make it right.
All returned items should be sent in their original condition and packaging.
Most customized products (i.e. labels) are not eligible for a refund if cancelled more than 72 hours from the time the order is placed. Label Daddy may charge a 50% cancellation fee if an order is cancelled more than 72 hours after it is placed.
What should I do if my refund is incorrect?
We’re really sorry if we’ve made a mistake with your refund! If this is the case please contact our Customer Care Team and we’ll sort it out for you as soon as possible.
The following may affect the amount you have been refunded:
The delivery charge, which is only refunded for cancelled orders under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013) or if the goods are faulty.
Any discounts that were applied at the time of sale, which may not now be applicable.
Can I make an exchange?
If everything on your order was ok but you would rather have a different color, design, or pack; you can contact us to return your product and exchange it for a different one. Returned products must be received in full in order to be eligible for exchange. Please contact us if you'd like to exchange your product.
Can I get a price adjustment?
Price adjustments can only be made within 14 days of your purchase.
You will be refunded the difference in price to your original form of payment.
Technical
What to do if I am not receiving Label Daddy emails.
Try some of these suggestions if you have already subscribed to our email list, but are still not receiving Label Daddy emails.
- You may need to add info@labeldaddy.com and customerservice@labeldaddy.com to your email address book, since some email software may move our emails to the junk folder.
- If you have not set up an account with, but did register your email, then a misspelled email address may have been submitted. This can be remedied by scrolling down to 'Latest and Greatest', and resubmitting your email. However, if you realize that you have registered the wrong email when you set up your Label Daddy account, then you will need to contact us to remedy the issue.
Having trouble with our website?
Here are some suggestions if you are having trouble viewing our site:
- Try deleting your cookies, but before you do this, be sure to make a note of what you have in your cart. Clearing out your cookies and history will delete any items currently in your cart.
- Most browsers allow you to delete your cookies by going into 'Tools' or 'History'. Some browsers, like Edge, will require you to go into 'Settings' first.
- Once your cookies have been cleared, you will need to close and then reopen your web browser.
- If none of these suggestions work then you may need to update your browser.
Why doesn't the product image in my cart match the product that I ordered?
We always use a cover image for each type of product, and sometimes it doesn't match the style that you chose; however, this does not mean that you have the wrong item in your cart. Order Issues
I'm missing an item from my order.
- We may have sent your items in a separate package. Please check your email to see if any of your items will arrive separately; also, be sure to check the delivery notes from each part of your order to make sure you're not missing anything.
- Customized towels, blankets, journals, laundry bags, carry-all pouches, backpacks, and laptop sleeves will be shipped separately from labels.
- If an item is missing, please contact our Customer Care team with the order number and the missing item's name and quantity. We will resolve the issue for you as quickly as we can.
Can I cancel my order after I've placed it?
- There are varying time limits in which you can cancel your order dependent upon which delivery option you've chosen.
- Our products are customized, so once the order has gone into production, we cannot cancel it. Please contact our Customer Care team to see if your order has gone into production.
What do I do if I receive a faulty item in my order?
We want to sort out any issues with faulty items. As soon as you discover a fault, please contact our Customer Care team with:
- The order number.
- A description of the fault.
- Photo of product.
We'll get back to you as soon as we can and send you a replacement item as quickly as we can.
l have an incorrect item in my order, what do I do?
- We want to sort out any issues with your order right away. Please contact our Customer Care team with your order number and the incorrect item's name and product number.

Can I change my order after I've placed it?
If you realize there is a mistake on your order or would like to change it, please contact us as soon as possible to fix this before your order goes out. If your order has already shipped, then we will need to exchange the item subject to our returns and exchanges policy.
