Is your little one heading back to elementary school soon? Here are some tips to help them (and you!) have a great first day back after a fun summer!
1. GET ORGANIZED
Nothing is worse than a messy backpack! Start teaching your kids those great organization skills and help them get their backpack organized. This way on the big day they will know where to find everything they need.
Want help avoiding the lost and found this year? Check out Label Daddy’s School Label pack, with cool customizable name labels for your child’s backpack, water bottles, and school supplies.
2. GET THEM EXCITED
If your child has the back to school jitters, the thought of going back after 2 months of summer vacation could seem like torture to them. Help them get excited to go back by organizing playdates with their friends from school or a fun back to school shopping trip.
3. STOCK UP ON SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Beat the rush and avoid those crazy lines at Target. Take your kiddos to pick out all their favorite folders, notebooks, pencils, colored markers and other supplies during the summer so they are ready to start learning on their first day back!
Need something to store all your cool new school supplies in? Label Daddy’s Carry-All Pouches work as great school supply pouches and are customizable with your studious one’s name.
4. BRUSH UP ON LAST YEAR'S LESSONS
Get your kids ready for the new school year by reviewing some basics they learned last year. Give them a little refresher so they are not too overwhelmed during the first week back.
5. INCLUDE A SPECIAL NOTE IN THEIR LUNCH BOX
We all could use a little encouragement to get through the day. Surprise your kid by leaving a cute note in their lunchbox for their first day!
If your child has any food allergies, be sure to check out Label Daddy's Allergy Labels to alert other kids and teachers of your child’s allergies.
