Today is Canada Day! I am a proud Canadian, and love Canada Day!
As Canadians, we are patriotic, although around the world it’s not that known. We all know Americans are, and when I was young, I wished Canadians were more patriotic. But as I got older, I learned that we truly are. Go ahead say something negative about Canada or Canadians around a Canadian, and you will see us go from sweet and polite to fired up in a 1 second time frame! We are just more quietly patriotic. We may not have our flags up all year, but on Canada Day you will see how patriotic we are.
I wanted to share some fun, and interesting facts about Canada! I hope you enjoy them:

Our National flag is known as the Maple Leaf, and you can see a picture of it at the top.
We have a Prime Minister, and our current Prime Minister’s name is Stephen Harper.
