I wrote previously about how we did a summer to do list, and we have a lot of things on that list. We needed to start crossing things off the list.
Two of the things on the list are to have a play date with a dear friend and her kids, and to go to a splash pad. So when my friend informed me that she was taking her kids to the splash pad, and that we were able to come along, I gathered up the boys and headed over.
I am new to the area so I hadn’t been there before. This one reminded me of those fancy fountains you see in front of city hall buildings that kids always want to run and play in, and parents have to try to keep them out of. But this is made for kids to play in. Some kids had toys, but we found that just playing with their hats, and the water was enough for my boys! Check out this video of how much fun they had:
