Summer Kick off

My hubby and I have a lot of home improvement projects that we need to do this summer.  So time, and money are going to be tight, but we also want to be sure that we have a lot of time to spend with our boys and to make memories.

One thing I know is that some of my best childhood memories weren’t things my parents thought would be a big deal.  But they are memories that always stuck in my head.  So we have made a Summer Bucket List of things to do with the boys this summer (although we will be making a home improvement list too).

Here’s our list currently, we keep adding items as the boys mention something:

    1. Make Passports for boys
    2. Finish oldest son’s bedroom
    3. Finish my craft room
    4. Catch a frog
    5. Have Nanny and Papa sleepover
    6. Have a water fight.
    7. Run Through the Sprinkler
    8. Potty Train Justin
    9. Go to the Beach
    10. Go to a Zoo
    11. Play with Multi-Testing Mommy’s Kids
    12. Play Mini putt
    13. Make art with colour wheel
    14. Bake Cookies
    15. Go to “Home Depot Park”
    16. Play in inflatable pool
    17. Go for a Family Bike Ride
    18. Go to the Farmer’s Market
    19. Go to a splash pad
    20. Have a Scavenger Hunt
    21. Make a backyard Obstacle Course

  1. Eat Something from our Veggie Garden
  2. Have Lunch with Daddy at work
  3. Have Breakfast at Ikea
  4. Get Jack a New Bed
  5. Go to The Funnery
  6. Have a Picnic
  7. Make Popsicles
  8. Make a Fort
  9. Have Sidewalk Chaulk Day
  10. Bubble Fun Day
  11. Go to Port Dalhousie Merry go round
  12. Get Ice Cream from the ice cream truck
  13. go to a car wash
  14. make ice cream
  15. Fly a Kite
  16. Jump rope
  17. Go swimming at Grandma and Grandpas pool
  18. Go for a family nature walk
